The convention this year was held at the Renaissance Hotel in Syracuse. It was a great facility and a fabulous place for our activities. The meeting turnout was great,
as all of the 2008 officers and directors were present and we accomplished a lot. We assigned committees, voted on bylaws, and made decisions about horse shows, along with
many other items. The lunch was enjoyable and thank you to the speakers who gave incredible speeches.
The club also held a live auction again this year and it was a huge fundraiser for our club
and also was fun for everyone who was there and participated. Thank you to anyone who
obtained donations or donated an item as it was greatly appreciated. Also thank you to all youth who helped out and our auctioneer(Duke
Dygert). The dinner was enjoyable and congratulations to everyone who received an award. I hope everyone who was present had a great time and lets make 2008 a
sucessful year.
