Meeting Minutes
Meeting called to order at 4:34pm.
Absent Officers and Directors: Todd Bednarek, Erica Wilson, Nicole
Thomas and Danielle Hanafin
Previous Minutes read and stand approved.
Treasurers Report: $15,883.81
Committee Reports:
□ Congress:
The team will meet with Hilary after the meeting today.
□ Fundraising:
A hand blown corning ware bowl with a $800.00 value has been donated by Bob
Carson to use as a fundraiser.
Motion made by Amanda Wendt seconded by Hilary Huttleston to sell
the hand blown bowl on EBay with a reserve of $1000.00, if it doesn't sell then
we well raffle it off. Motion denied.
Motion made by Rebecca Allen seconded by Allison Shafer to sell
the hand blown bowl on EBay
Old Business:
□ June/July
Show: Between both shows we netted
&7348.03 profit. We raised $11,616.00 in fundraisers......great job
everyone! We need to continue to grow
with our fundraising.
New Business
□ Congress:
After much discussion regarding funding for the Congress team:
Motion made by Amanda Wendt seconded by Julie Cole that the
Congress team members get the same funding as the World team members. Motion carried.
□ Horse
Show: Motion made by Abby Eaves seconded
by Rebecca Allen to have Larry and Charlotte Jaynes to be our horse show
managers. Motion carried.
Please start thinking about judges to submit for the next meeting.
The next meeting is the Nominating meeting for Officers and
Directors, nominations will be taken from the floor.
Other
Region 5 convention in
Motion made by Abby Eaves seconded by Hilary Huttleston to pay the
registration fee for up to two people to attend the Region 5 convention.
Announcements:
Scooter tickets to sell at the Fall Show $5.00 each only 100
tickets are available.
Motion made by Amanda Wendt seconded by Hilary Huttleston to
adjourn the meeting at 5:08pm.
